Boy Howdy is a one woman studio that is dedicated to the absurd, the whimsical, the humorous, the down-right nerdy, and the unapologetically childish.
Does it always make sense? Nah. Is it for everyone? Of course not! But maybe you also enjoy art that that leaves you wondering “Why did someone make this?” If so, then baby, we’re for you!
About the artist
Christine is an artist who lives and works in St. Louis but spends most of her time in her own head. She would describe herself as aspiring Chaotic Good with a raging sweet tooth and dark sense of humor. She does not like writing these bios but does enjoy extravagant use of the third person.
Christine received her BFA from the Sam Fox School of Art and Design at Washington University in St. Louis. She spent her first years out of school working design jobs for St. Louis PBS and local decor company Williamson Home before branching out to pursue her true passion of illustration. She currently contracts with Hallmark and Williamson Home, and is always open to collaborate on a new project if you’re nice and have good ideas.
